Close in to Colville/Chewelah. The road is narrow but we got out 25 footer in. Did encounter another vehicle and he was able to pull completely off the road to allow us to pass. The sites are towards the launch, and also a few to the left at the gate. I only saw one site I felt comfortable backing into with a RV our size. The rest of the sites are pretty tight, mined with rocks etc. Probably to keep bigger trailers out. There are at least two residences on the lake, we were looking right at one house's rather bright lights, and listened to their dogs barking. We like remote, so that was a fail for us. If that does not bother you, then you might like the place. Also, lots of garbage left by previous campers, all over the park. I saw a car battery in one site ! Very disheartening to see such slobs abusing this resource ! Verizon worked great, had data even.
Not a fit for us, we will not be back.

This is a wonderful little spot, with access and a view of the small lake. I really enjoyed my time here.
During my stay mid September, it was starting to get a bit chilly here, which really wasn't helped by the near constant shade. That may not be as much of an issue for others that have a reliable heat source, but I ended up keeping my jacket on and bundling up at night. Didn't ruin it for me enough to not stay all 5 days of my welcome, though.
The shade was a hassle for my solar panels. Being able to move my panels helped a lot, but I really had to keep a keen eye on the batteries and my energy use while I was here.
The road in could be difficult for larger rigs if you run into another vehicle coming the opposite direction. I did a few times, but was able to make due with my small size and the fact that the other car was a sedan. At the wrong spots, that could be a much more significant issue, if it occurred, for larger rigs than what my situation entailed.
I had a few neighbors while I was here, but there seemed to always be two spots open at a time--rarely the same two. However, it was very quiet. I saw my neighbors, but noise was the least of my concerns here.
Everything, including the vault toilet was clean. The toilet didn't have any toilet paper, so I was glad I always carry my own anyway, but I'm not sure how often it is stocked and cleaned by mid September, especially. Everything was still plenty clean and otherwise well kept, however, so no issues there for me.
There was a reliable Verizon LTE signal at all times. It got slow a few times, but never bad enough to interfere with what I need it for significantly.
The site I had was a bit uneven and most spots had a long driveway, though most were pretty straight.
I would definitely stay again, if in the area. I may go for shorter term due to the solar panel issues, and would prefer slightly earlier in the season for this one, before the temperatures dipped as much.

I wouldn't recommend this spot for rigs bigger than ours. With the narrow road, it took us a few tries to back into our spot which had a very long driveway but ended with a lovely view of the lake.
One warning about the roads in and out. It's a single lane road and there really isn't anywhere to pull over. So if you come head to head with anyone hopefully it's with someone who can easily back up.
There are a lot of trees, so which could be a problem for our solar if we wanted to stay more than a couple nights.

Yesterday we left our place in the Okanogan and drove 2.5 hours east to Colville, WA. I was a little concerned that we’d be arriving at a campground on a Saturday during a holiday weekend, but...
