4/19 Checked in as soon as we could so we could hike some trails with sunshine. Nice signage on roads and trails. Did laundry - 2.00 a load per wash and same for dry. Showers looked decent but were in need of cleaning floors. Husbands biggest complaint - went to dump station and there was NO WATER, potable or non. VERY unsanitary to not be...

We loved our stay here and would love to go back. We visited in October 2023 and the weather was perfect! The drive in was easy, but be prepared to have thousands of dead bugs on your vehicle and RV by the end of the drive in and out. The bugs by the main entrance in were crazy...so many of them. By the time we got to our campground and RV site...

There was a barrier across the entrance, before the meadow. No place to camp/overnight near 726/Hwy 30. Fortunately, you can continue down Hwy 30 for about 6 miles back to the interstate, or under the interstate to Vedauwoo. Would have explored to find a spot, but it was pretty foggy and visibility was 100-200 feet, so hard to see anything.

Still closed for the season. As there was heavy fog when we pulled in, and it was dark, we decided to spend the night in the overflow lot. Unfortunately, someone else had parked in a way that blocked access, but we were able to fit next to the road to the overflow lot, snugged up against the fence.
