“Quiet With Friendly Owner”

The owner is very nice and accommodating. He allows very late check ins. He lives on the property. There are a few cute cabins to rent. The sites were grass and level. Well taken care of. The grass is mowed regularly. The road was fine to drive in. There was only one older trailer there. There is a big open field to play in. The owner ... more

Let me start by saying that owner was very friendly and very accommodating. However the property needs a lot of work. As we pulled in we couldn’t even tell that it was an operating business. We were about 10 seconds away from pulling out when the owner came out to greet us. Had he not come out, we would have left. The website shows... more

Small, quiet, clean. Not a destination campground, but a good base while exploring Mammoth Cave National Park and area. None of the craziness that you have to put up with at a megcampground like Jellystone down the road. Closest campground to the NP visitor center we could see.
