My ex was a park operator here.

We stayed in the North campground for the duration of the season. The lake is beautiful and most days it's an awesome relaxing stay. There are 3 separate campgrounds that you should be aware of as they are NOT created equal.

North Campground is technically an open area about a mile before you get to the private resort. It is a little busier as there is a boat launch there and many of the fishermen stage from there. It is the easier of the 3 campgrounds to get to.

West Campground has defined sites but the road in is HORRENDOUS! Potholes and boulders throughout it's a very rough ride in. If you're adventurous as some are, then go for it but I wouldn't be trying to drag my rig in there and it's older.

Horseshoe Lake Campground is between the two for accessibility but a lot smaller, only a few sites in a treed area.

There are no hookups, no water spigots and cell signal with Rogers was present but not strong. Also very dependent on where you were parked. There are pit toilets and garbage receptacles that are maintained daily.

It's a beautiful area and we had no issues with the fishermen. Avoid long weekends as it can become a zoo when all the weekend warriors and high school kids come out.
