Not a typical COE campground here, but a great place nonetheless. Sites are large with paved, mostly level sites. Narrow driveways here with grass sitting areas, unlike the paved/gravel large sitting areas typically found at a COE camp. Electrical hook ups only (20-30-50 amp), there is a fresh water fill on the way in and spigots generously spaced throughout the campground. Use the fresh water fill on the way in as the spigots in the campground are unthreaded with pump handles. There is a dump station on the way out. Interior roads are paved and plenty wide for any sized rig. The camp also has a camp store, archery range, basketball court, playground, well marked and maintained trails and somewhat dated but very clean bathhouses. While I was here, the park was sparsely populated during the week but full and busy on the weekends. Camp hosts were very friendly and helpful.
While Verizon is shaky in many areas of West Virginia and the host mentioned it was touch and go in the campground, at my site I had a good signal most of the time and was able to stream without any issues most of the time.
I came in through Keyser and Elk Garden, WV (Keyser has all the shopping and dining one could want) and the ride up the mountain was fairly hilly and winding. With the proper care, it should not pose any great problems. I would suggest being well stocked upon arrival as the ride to Keyser - while only about 15 miles or so - takes more than a half hour one way.
All in all a great camp for a nice relaxing getaway, especially Monday thru Thursday.
Iowa Pete would stay here again

It is in a somewhat remote, mountainous area, so the approach can be a little challenging. We have a 25 ft travel trailer and had no issues, aside from the GPS routing us up a mountain logging road....if you GPS tries to take you up Nature Center Drive, don't do it.
We have Verizon and were able to stream YouTube...

Well maintained
Well manicured
Semi-private sites
50 amp electrical
Friendly camp hosts
RV tip: Use approach from ELK GARDEN to avoid dodgy approach (Route 46) from Westernport, MD.
Four Stars: "We like this place and would willingly waste our time in it."
* we did not use the bathhouse, so have no data.
