We chose not to stay near Quartzsite during the peak time because we were trying to avoid crowds due to Covid. So when we stayed things were pretty quiet. It was our first desert boondocking experience and we loved it. There are plenty of reviews about this and other BLM options in the area.

Lots of reviews here so not much to add.
Large, open area that is flat with easy access. There are several access roads off of La Paz Valley Road/N 53 St between Hiway 95 Old Yuma Road. We found the first couple of turn offs were the busiest. Some highway noise.
Lots of OHV and geocaching opportunities.

We stayed here for the Truck Camper Adventure truck camper rally in Feb 2021. Good place near Quartzsite but not an LTVA, so it's free for 14 days. Mostly flat, easy access, plenty of space for rigs of all sizes. Check out Kofa National Wildlife Refuge while you're here.

Tons of space here and you could spend hours scouting out the perfect location.
This spot is just like all the other BLM spots in Quartzsite. They all are great, secluded and have designated fire pits.
One thing to note, we have full bars but have spotty data when using our hotspot.

We have stayed in the Quartzsite area for years now, but this is the 1st time on this side of town. About 6 miles from town, it's a wide open area, no issues, the road is good. Can't really go wrong here

The cell signal got noticeably worse at more RVers came for the big RV show. I couldn’t do any web browsing on my phone by end of Jan unless it was 2am.
There is the one main spot to dump and fill up for water in town. It’s $15 instead of $20 if you’re 30’ or less.
If you just need some water for drinking there is a gas station/Burger King in town that has filtered drinking water for $1 for 5 gallons.
I’d recommend going into Blythe for your groceries. If you have a pup like us that loves to swim, head over to the boat ramp area at Queshan Park on your way to Blythe. It’s right along the Colorado River.

Will definitely be coming back to stay here again on our way back through the area. We were in a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD with a 36 foot fifth wheel. Had plenty of room to manuever and park without being too close to others.

Very nice 14 day limit BLM. There is no amenities so be prepared to haul trash out when you leave. We bought the winter $180.00 permit which gives us access to water, trash and rv dump at La Posa South LTVA. The permit is good from mid September through mid April.

We picked this area because it was really close to the road and we were pulling in really late at night. The site was perfect! It was level, requiring no adjustments on our end. There was no one around (probably due to it being the wrong season for camping here), and very quiet. Only negative part were the bugs were running rampant, which it’s nature so we understand it, but still not fun. Would stay here again nonetheless!
