Overall Rating
Not much info on this little piece of heaven, but glad we stopped. It’s a well maintained county park with two ponds and plenty of trails. We had a great run around the place and it’s beautiful.
It looks as if there were more formal camp sites at one point in the past. The bbq grills remain as well as a well sized fire pit.
The covered pavilion is in great shape with functional lighting.
I’d imagine one or two 40 footers can fit in here, but the strength of this stop is the abundance of excellent tent spots.
There is the slightest of road noise, but nature is the winner at this place.

Overall Rating
This is a cute little park with lots of mature trees, a playground, pit toilets, and a couple ponds. The main lot is large enough to accommodate a couple big rigs, but given its location I doubt you’d have much competition for overnight space. Some highway noise but the birds prevail.
