This is the first time we have been to Red River, N.M. It’s a super nice town with plenty of restaurants, stores and activities. We have a truck camper and stayed at Road Runner RV resort. The one staff we met, Charles, at the front gate was very friendly and helpful. The park is pretty crowded and spots are a bit tight. There are 5 bathroom/shower combos for over 120 spots which is ridiculous. I know most rigs are outfitted to handle those functions but some smaller rigs are pretty small and having the option of using the camps facilities is very helpful. Tried to sign up for the internet service and it came back with a message that this location is inactive. The Red River does run through the park so it’s convenient for fishing and there is a playground/tennis court for the campers so there are some pluses.

Normally ATT cell coverage is decent but a wind storm knocked down the tower a week before so there was really no service.

Booked last minute, site unseen, not sure I'd even read a review. So, was a little concerned, having driven by many RV Parks which looked like parking lots with hookups. As soon as we saw RRRVP we were delighted, it is beautiful. Yes, spaces were close together in our loop, but there were trees, and adjacent beautiful mountainsides. The (narrow) river runs right through the park. We loved it And will return.
Six bathrooms/showers are quite nice, campground-wise, although the walls of one shower were a little slimy to the touch.
LOT of cigarette butts on ground of our site.
On day 2 there was noise from UTV's, seemed like all day long. I think some of the drivers are quite proud of the loudness of their vehicle. To be fair, some of the noise comes from the road adjacent to the park. But even the staff drive gas carts, which adds to the noise. Kind of a shame cuz apart from the noise this place is heaven.

This Resort is beautiful. Owners and staff are terrific. They have Wifi, but it was not real fast. We had LTE on AT&T, but it was slow. At times we would have 3-4 bars, but the speed was still slow. It felt like the LTE speed was bottlenecked on the AT&T lines past the tower.
