Overall Rating

Fast, friendly check-in. We asked for a restaurant recommendation and one of the suggestions was Tirebiters Pub. Service wasn't great, but portions and prices made up for it.

Looked like a nice pool, we didn't have time to use it. Interior roads are paved, easy access to our site. Showers are free and clean.

The campground itself was very nice, well maintained. A lot of the sites are occupied by what appears to be seasonal renters, based on the golf carts and amount of patio furniture/grills/fridges. Between the highway noise and the barking dogs, I can't imagine staying here for more than a couple days. It was our first time to the area and we picked this campground because of its proximity to Bagnell Dam and Osage Beach. In hindsight, it wasn't really that important.
