This is a nice spot. I must say though, perhaps because we came late the owner was less than friendly.

They look nice and have a porch swing overlooking the shore and riverbank. All along the riverbank are fire rings.....none at the RV campsites.

The staff was friendly and patient with all my questions when I called to reserve a site. Access was convenient and yet far enough away from highway noise. Running and biking in the RV park was boring. Paved and gravel. The trip around the outside perimeter was approx. 1.2 miles. There are "greenways in the city about 5 miles away. They are not very interesting but safe. Some big hills.
Hiking at the Smokies is of course stupendous.
Access to the West Prong/Little Pigeon River was by boat ramp near the office. We didn't go due to the rain. As we were in the town might not have been that interesting.
Sites were typical neither large nor small for this type of park.
AT&T cell service was poor. We had to use WeBoost 65 RV with a 35-foot directional antenna. We were able to stream TV with the WeBoost antenna.

Agree with many of the observations below.
Wifi worked great.
My only complaint is the barking dogs.. Almost constant. Drives you crazy when they are only feet away and the owners don’t give a crap.
Board them, babysit or have a friend keep them.
Buy a muzzle.
By the way I love dogs. Just not the constant barking.

The internet was excellent.
A bonus is that Tony Gore’s BBQ is right around the corner!
Very close to I-40.
We’d absolutely visit again.

We loved this little spot! Very convenient between Knoxville and Pigeon Forge. We had a great space right next to the river and we’re able to set up our chairs in the lawn and overlook the river. There was a nice big dog run and the bath house was clean and functional.
