I was previously staying at another campground about 15 minutes away but due to some issues I moved to this campground. First off let me say this campground is broken into 2 sections. The first section is more for short time stays. Sites have water and electric but no sewer hookups. You check in at the campground with the camp hosts. The second back section is more for monthly and seasonal campers and has full hookups. Here you need to call the city to reserve and go into the city office to pay for site. We stayed in the back section.
The monthly rate was $350 plus electric. Here you park on the grass and it is not level. They did verify that my rig was less than 10 years old when I checked in at the city office. Some campers have been on site for many years. The neighbors to the south of me said they been there for 13 years.
Because I was in the long term section I can't speak for the front section. But the back section was super quiet. I didn't see any children and everyone pretty much kept to themselves. The sites were a little close together for my liking but it was doable.
THE GOOD
- Nice and Quiet
- Close to freeway
- Close to lakes
- Walking path right from campground
- Shower and Bath house available
- Boat launch at campground
- Good cell signal
THE BAD
- Close to Freeway
- Sites are not level
- Showers are in front campground section
- Sites are close together
- Highway noise
The biggest complaint I had was that the camp hosts only left 2 showers open during the week. More times than not you would have to wait for a shower to be open. Weekends they would open all 9 but during the week it was 2 only. Other than that I enjoyed my stay here and would stay again.
NateWanders would stay here again

Hosting was exceptional, and a nice vibe overall. My first time in an RV park so can’t compare but it has set a standard in my mind I imagine.

I can't say enough good things about this gem, but here goes. Great hosts. Clean washrooms. Hot showers. Free kayaks for the small lake. Free fishing rods. Nice municipal pool a few blocks away. Tubing nearby and within commuting distance of Wisconsin Dells. A steal at 25 bucks a night. Water and electric only but good dump station. ... more
