There are 2 different parks. 1 is privately run and the other is run by the parks department.
The City park is $20 for water and electric. It is a very clean park with a beautiful walking path and bayou. Lots of families and "walkers' frequent this park.
Or there is a Super Walmart less than a mile west on hyw 67 that is free

Easy access from the town's main highway, yet there was absolutely zero road noise. Wifi was speedy. The morning awakened us to a variety of wonderful bird sounds. We were even able to sneak in a fantastic 3-mile trail run through the park. Every town should have an RV park like this for passing guests.

Barber shops and beauty salons must be open in Texas, because this place clearly gets a manicure on the regular. Barber shops and beauty salons must be open in Texas, because this place clearly gets a manicure on the regular. With some 20’ between me and my neighbors, should I have not been traveling alone a game of catch would have been easily possible. Unless you miss the ball, in which case you’re talking street or river. As I’m in a van, I had no problem fitting in my spot...it was easily 100’ long and all spots are exactly the same, save for some have large live oaks (such as mine) and others are grassy patches. It’s no really evident where you’re supposed to go to check in or see if there’s a spot open, so you have to call the number listed here on Campendium. Or you can text that number. Apparently there’s an office above the bathrooms (actually, it’s labeled OFF E), but those bathrooms are a gem. Shower and toilet all in one private room, keypad to get in. Good stuff.
I just needed a place to stay as currently Texas State Parks aren’t allowing same day walk ins, it’s all reservations at least one day in advance.
The best part about this place is the grocery store back down the road - probably the only place selling craft beer and IPAs specifically for 100 miles.
Cell service has improved to 4 bars of 3G. If you’re into RV parks, this one’s a winner.

Not too far from the middle of town. Large pull through sites, not too close together. Pull into your spot right off the street. We have a 42’ 5er w/ 5 slides and had no problem. Has decent wi-fi...which is good since Verizon service was 2bars on extended...almost non existent. You pull in facing a river and behind you is a pretty busy park...not the quietest place we have stayed. It did quiet down after dark. Rate w/ GS discount was $34. Would stay here again.
