“Close to Scottsbluff”

Reviewed Jul 24, 2019

Overall Rating

Open May 1 – October 1. Got the second to last site on a Wednesday in July (you can reserve sites after the campground opens on May 1). We chose this campground for its proximity to Scottsbluff. Although there is a tent site area, the campground was filled mostly with large RVs. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and even thoug... more

“friendly, helpful”

Reviewed Jul 13, 2019

Overall Rating

Hosts were friendly, helpful and there to make sure you had what you needed. I read the earlier posts and found none of the negatives. We were there on 6/8 to 6/9/19. The weather was mild, so I told them I wanted a dry spot - didn't need electric, but would like the shade. They gave us a hook up spot, but charged for dry. Best showe... more

“Lots to do!”

Reviewed Oct 03, 2018

We were greeted immediately by the friendly on-site hostess who guided us directly into the first space. She said we could move to any other if we wanted, though. We had FHU, which was one of the reasons we chose this park, and they all worked well. There were only 4-5 other campers in the park, and none of us were crowded together. ... more

“Great little City Park”

Reviewed Jun 16, 2018

Overall Rating

The camp hosts and City must have really done some improvements based on earlier review! The sites are gravel and mostly level. Picnic table and fire ring at each site. Tell camp host you want firewood and he’ll deliver it to your site (? Cost, I didn’t use any). Bathrooms/showers were spotless, grass was mown, playground, fishing, dog... more

“City park not well taken care of”

Reviewed Jul 16, 2017

Overall Rating

So I am revising my original post. Drove through today while the park was open, trash overflowing the dumpsters, standing water around water spigots/dump connections, long term renters apparently with junk around their rigs.

With some TLC it would b a nice park.

Prices now $5 higher for FHU and E/W.

Didn't stay here as they were closed for the season but very nice looking city park. Rates are

FHU $20
EW $15

Nice quiet location and you can walk to the North Platte River on the south side of the overall park.
