It was this or the truck stop and I chose the campground. There's quite a bit of shade and there are fire rings and picnic tables. It certainly not a destination stop. It was this or the truck stop and I chose the campground. There's quite a bit of shade and there are fire rings and picnic tables. It certainly not a destination stop. But for an overnight it's great.
I easily backed into site number 12 with my crew cab long bed F350 and my desert fox 27fs. The site was long enough that I didn't have to unhook.
The shade made setting up starlink a bit challenging but it works.
The campground is very close to a refinery. So far I don't smell any odors from the refinery.

Overall Rating
Stayed a couple of nights. Park is now officially open. Rite on Yellowstone river/ highway 212 & interstate 90. Very busy highways during day. Must register with city parks by phone, online, or in person at city hall.
