“Ok Karens”

I stop here a few times a year. The park is inside a town, there is a Pizza Pub (read: restaurant and bar) within walking distance, and it's just off one of the town's main roads. I've never seen a meth user down there. I think I am probably who the previous reviewer was talking about. I'm just a dude with a beard in a 2-year-old class c. I was in my RV working (as a computer programmer) for most of my stay there. There were also several families around, having a good time. I usually reserve the same spot, but the electricity has never been down for me, at worst I've had to flip the breaker.
This park is utilitarian, for sure. If you're here to get to the river, it's great for that. If you need to park your RV somewhere with electricity and water for a few days, it's good for that. There's a gas station a few miles away that offers a dump station when you fill up. I'd prefer a dump station at the park, especially for this price.
I never use the onsite facilities, I can't speak to them.

Had reservation for three nights. On arrival our electrical didn't work, called the campground 'emergency' line and left a message asking for it to be addressed and that we would be going to an empty spot with electricity until it was working. Never heard anything back. Sunday morning a city guy yanked our power cord out and then banged on my drivers side window (even though I was clearly sitting right inside). Informed us this park was for PAYING campers only! Informed him we were and he then looked it up. He then chewed me out for parking on the grass (dirt) even though another truck was also but he didn't go talk to them. My 25 ft cord reached fine in my original spot but it didn't in this one so I was off to the side in the dirt. Apologized for that and said I would move and was leaving soon but he just kept on berating me. So rude! Police then arrived for backup in case these two quiet 60 yo ladies were too much for him to deal with. He then walked off, never apologized for assuming we were shady, freeloading van dwellers and left my plug on the ground. Never have I been treated so poorly in a campground, I will never go back. And to top it off the bugs are horrible, bathrooms are dirty and wet and we had some shady methhead sleeping at our site Sunday morning. Picture of the lush June lawn attached.
