There is only one spot with full hookups. And, even though we reserved it, it was taken (by the camp hosts) when we arrived. We got two different stories as to why we could not have the spot we reserved. They offered us a discount, but it was a major inconvenience, since we were there for two weeks. Funnier, still, had the spot been open, it would had been HARD AS HELL to get in to it. There is a massive (20' round) boulder just 30 feet in front of it. They knew we had a 42 foot 5th wheel - what were they thinking????
The staff were nice, but did not seem to care about our inconvenience or the fact their free internet (which the advertise) does not work. The location is convenient for Wells Gray Provincial Park as well as Kamploops. We suggest you go 10 minutes up the road to North Thompson River Provincial Park. It was SO MUCH NICER and SO MUCH QUIETER.

Really friendly and welcoming hosts. We spent 2 nights here to explore Wells Gray and it worked well. In hindsight I probably would have only spent 1 night here as there isn’t much else to do around the area.
Also the trucks driving by at night are very loud if you have popouts like we do but it didn’t wake us up at night.

Great grass areas on the river with river views. Pulled our class A in nose first and had an amazing view of the river. Since we were high up, we couldn’t see the ground and almost felt like we were on a river cruise, or Huck Finn going downriver. They only take cash so bring $40 canadian dollars for no hookups. no neighbors on either side during our stay. This place is much better than the KOA or other rv stays around. The breakfast was $10 and not worth it, but the owners were gracious. Great cell (3bars not boosted) and satellite reception - critical for the world cup finals. Mosquitos were bad at sunset but that happens everywhere. I would recommend this for an overnight stay on the way to Robson or Jasper. BTW Robson is AMAZING! and i live in CO. There is road noise but the highway is quiet at night. For north spot with driver side slide would be the best spot. They must have 5 acres of grass areas including the camping spots so super nice - no gravel or concrete.
Mark would stay here again
