Largely agree with the previous review, except the price comparison is all relative to the fact that you're in a country where everything's cheaper. RV parks in the US or Quintana Roo would charge five times as much for no better an experience.
I particularly tried to look at this place not as a let down after all of the gorgeous, free beach camping Baja has to offer, but a place to plug in, where tons of travelers tend to convene on their migrations northward and southward, making for good conversation with people from all over the world while you have easier access to doing your own laundry and charging things up than in other areas.
Easy to walk to town, too, and Loreto is a fun place to explore.
Nathan @ Wand'rly would stay here again

Well, this is your typical American RV park in Baja. Crammed in like sardines and too expensive for what it is. Sure, it was a nice enough RV park, but by the time you get down to Loreto you have been camping in some amazing places for half the price. The cross-fit place directly behind the RV park starts blasting music at 8am and it doesn't end until 9pm. Barking dogs are everywhere whenever there is a break in the music. The showers do provide hot water, for about 5 minutes before the hot water heater is run dry. And you are forced to walk *thru* other people's camps to access the bathroom and showers as there is no dedicated walkway to get there.
On the plus side, the owner was fantastic and all the facilities worked. It is an easy walk to historic downtown as well.

El Pulvo: noun. A thin, crushed rock like substance found on many of the roads in Baja. You may know it as dirt, but you'll never drive on as many dirt roads as down here.
