Overall Rating
This is a Snohomish County Park. The camping area is on a gravel road roughly 100 yards long. There are 5 sites for RVs on each side of the road with parking end to end. Each site has a nice picnic table on grass and a fire ring. There is one source of potable water at the pump house building. None of the sites have electricity or sewer nor is there a dump station. There are restrooms but no showers. The RV sites are only about 100 feet from the South Fork of the Stillaguamish River. However, the river cannot be seen or heard from the sites because of intervening trees and vegetation. It is roughly a one half mile walk (through the day use area) to a beach where the river can be accessed. We camped at River Meadows on a weekday night in May and were the only ones in the campground. The park was very quiet at night with no road or railroad noise. There were many day users of the park including some who ignored the posted rule to keep dogs on a leash. We could not pick up any over the air television stations.
