The showers worked, and we just ran out of time and didn't get a chance to even check out the beach/river. The noisiest part of the place are the boats that are gunning their engines, but I think that's par for the area.
Our 30A circuit kept popping (all we were doing was running the A/C but it was 100 here) which never happened anywhere else. We just plugged into the 50A with our dog bone, and it worked fine. There were a lot of kids everywhere, and people with boats on trailers. Everyone seemed very friendly, and this seemed to be one of the fea R

Our 27 foot (33 actual) just fit on the concrete but there was more room. The only problem is, is a long distance for any shopping except groceries. You have to go to Parker.

Apparently River Breeze joined a neighboring park to create what is now The Palms at River Edge. This park is full of potential and it appears efforts are being made. Park is a combination of manufactured homes and RVs. Lot of long term residents, which is apparent by the accumulation of junk, multiple vehicles, rec toys and trailers stored in the sites. Sites are long and wide, grass patios with dirt pads. Efforts are being made to add cement patios to the pull through sites. Back ins, have cement pads, grass patios. Streets are wide and made of cement. Pool area is in need of improvement, I don’t believe it’s currently being used, was dirty and hot tub wasn’t heated. Shore line of the river is nice. This review is of rows A - D. I would not recommend rows E - H.

First off, be aware that at the time of this review (December 2020), the park had recently been purchased by neighboring campground The Palms at River Edge. While they were starting to share the latter name, they still had separate websites and were still operating as separate campgrounds.
We stayed for 6 days at one of the pull-through sites. The pull-through sites are close-cut grass sites with some dirt patches located between two paved roads. All non-camper vehicles had to be parked on one of the roads: the roads were wide enough that you could still get through even if vehicles were parked on both sides of the road. Some sites had small tress or shrubs, but no picnic tables or fire pits. Each row ended with a series of small houses with covered parking for campers or boats occupied by long-term residents. So it felt like we’d just added our home on wheels to a suburban neighborhood, so it just felt different. The gated entrance/exit added to that vibe: a passcode was required to enter the campground at all hours of the day, which honestly felt a tad oppressive.
The campground backs onto the Colorado River. That end of the campground has a boat ramp, a small playground, a horseshoe pit, and a fenced-in dog park, where our dogs enjoyed running around on the grass. You can walk down to the shoreline, but there isn’t really a beach: the area at the back of The Palms at River Edge has most of the beachfront, and they are developing that area to enhance its appeal as a recreation spot (it should be nice when they’re done).
They do propane tank refills: just leave your cylinder by the tank (put your site number on it), let the office know that you need a refill, and they’ll deliver it to your site once it’s been filled. The bathrooms on the back side of the office building are unremarkable but clean.
In terms of cell service, my Verizon bandwidth was inconsistent. On the Sunday we arrived, I barely got 1Mpbs both up and down with my Verizon Jetpack with MIMO antenna. The signal strength seemed average, but I did briefly try using my WeBoot cell booster to see if it helped (it did not). But the next day I started getting more usable speeds of 8Mbps down and 4Mbps up, and through the rest of our stay we would have hours of usable bandwidth and hours where it was unusable. On the other hand, the one speed test I performed on my AT&T phone showed 103Mbps down and 16Mbps up, so I switched over to my phone hotspot whenever I had to attend an online meeting at work to ensure I had a connection that could handle the audio and video.
This is a decent place for a quick layover, but not somewhere I’d choose to stay long term just because of the vibe (and just to be clear, everyone we met was friendly, so it’s not one of those campgrounds with full-time residents that treat overnighters differently).

There is a small pool and hot tub and easy access to the Colorado River, including a boat launch ramp and some Palapas. Based on my observations, the pull through sites, like mine, are right on the lawns, while the back in sites have a pad. A couple of negatives are that picnic tables are available on request but not included in each site and that the WiFi is not reliable, fast or strong.

Seemed to be a lot of grumpy or nonsocial retirees here . We are a quite family but took kids swimming and got dirty looks and elderly left within 30 seconds. No other kids at the park but we didn't mind we had a blast. We would totally stay here again .

From the front office to other campers that seemed that they were there for the season, everyone was very friendly. Very popular with OHV as I believe the trails are close by. But it was quiet in the campground. Access to river with boat or dog swim. A good stopover for me and maybe longer if you have ATVs or boats and such.
