Overall Rating

A bit of a challenge to get to the location with a mountain pass dirt road or a theory but, worth the effort! Incredible location in the middle of Bella Coola Valley surrounded by mountains in a gorgeous river. Lots of opportunities for outdoor activity including tremendous hiking. Staff and amenities were excellent.

Overall Rating

When we pulled into this campground we were a bit reluctant. The power sites were all in a row with small shrub barriers. So we signed up for a night and stayed three. This campground is amazing. The sites with power were actually quite big and private. Most people staying there were either fisherman, hikers or bear watchers. We had no idea. They have a bear viewing platform right on the river just a quick walk from the sites. We saw several grizzlies fishing for salmon and a mother with 3 babies. The showers are so nice you feel like you are staying at a friends house. Immaculate and tasteful. Laundry facility that is a residential quality set up The grounds are so beautiful and the sites in the woods are big and private. If we had time and they had space we would have stayed longer. Nicest private campground I have stayed at.
