Wow the view is amazing, we opted for full hookups, pulled up, didn't need to level out because the sites are fairly level already. Nice bathhouse, dump station. No cell service. Close to town with everything. Great trails and plenty to do. Or just relax at your sure and enjoy the tranquility.

When we got there the office was closed, but we had already made reservations online for our site. The campground is laid out well. I loved our site, #61. Had a great view of the lake. I felt like the spaces have a good amount of privacy. We weren’t far from the bathrooms. My husband used them and said they were nice and clean. Our spot was immaculate. We had only electric hook up, but that was all we needed! I feel like this was a sweet little gem off the interstate, kind of like a hidden oasis. I would definitely stay here again. We stayed overnight on October 1. The place was fairly full. Glad we had reservations. Yes, AT&T does not have any cell service there. I’m OK with that, as I like to get off grid and away from crowds! I did notice that they do have portable water and a dump station, too. We have a 25 foot travel trailer, and had no issues maneuvering it around.

The lake is beautiful and the place is well maintained. But, it’s mostly a parking lot. Not many trees or shade unless you’re under the awning. I felt like I was on top of everyone. This is one of the top two or three state parks we have ever stayed in! Large, paved, level sites with covered picnic tables and a huge patio area with gravel (which the camp hosts meticulously clean and rake after every guest). We did not use the bath houses, but everything appears new and clean. Our only complaints were that there was no laundry facilities and they charge an additional $9/day for your toad (yikes!) unless you have a park pass. There was little to no Verizon/AT&T cell service. My booster made the AT&T hotspot usable for internet browsing, but not for streaming.
We were in the Lakeview section which is FHU. The sites are well spaced and tiered so you get great views and a fair amount of privacy.

We had a beautiful stay just a tad windy. Recommend to anyone. Pulled a 20 ft trailer in with no problems. We saw a few huge RVs as well. Water is beautiful and lots of swimming access.

No one behind, with only the mountains to enjoy, and no one beside us, with a gorgeous view. The spots up here are paved and level. The host even comes and rakes the sand in the tent spots (which each site has) between visitors. The site is close to the road, but with lots of space behind and beside it.
The only criticism we could possibly have is that the water pressure way up on top is a little low.
This was one of our favorite campsites ever.
No cell service, though.

Sites were level, clean, and fairly large. Each site has a firepit, picnic table, and shade shelter. It was a peaceful and quiet location. Reservoir was small but very clean and not a lot of boat traffic, which was nice.
Took the drive up to Rifle Falls State Park and beyond as well. Rifle Gap is a cool place to escape to for a few days. Park Staff was friendly.

Camp sites are nice with shaded structures under picnic tables, some even have a dump traps.
Best cell service is on the upper sites. I had no service down by the lake.
