There are long rocky sandy beaches. There are some sites with sewer, all the sites had power and water. The campground and bathrooms were clean and well maintained. I was able to find mountain bike trails, road bike trails and spend time on the lake using a paddle board. There is a planned Crown Point Trail along the east side of the lake from Cascade to McCall which will be great once it's completed. Right now it only goes 4 miles.
If you are unable to find a spot at this campsite there are multiple campsites along the shore of Cascade Lake.
Google Maps sent me through a residential neighborhood on the way to the campground. The easiest way is to go to the boat access on the south end of Van Wyck Campground then head north on Shore Drive to the campground entrance.
My only issue was that there was only two small metal trash cans for all the sites. There was not enough room in them after the weekend.

We had a great stay at Ridgeview Campground! It was $35 for a water and electric hookup. We stayed one night. Our site was right next to the lake and bathrooms, and we couldn’t see any other campers from where we were. The fire pit was great too. We used the dump station at the entrance on the way in and on the way out.

Excellent cell phone coverage makes easy to get work done when I need to, using my Verizon hot spot.

We stumbled upon this campground looking for a site for a night. We were headed to one of the dry camping campgrounds on the lake but found this option. The campground offers full hookups or electric/water. $36 was for full hookups. $34 for electric/water. The fee includes the $5 Idaho vehicle fee. A dump station is 1/2 mile away for those not having sewer. There are 2 dump stations in the area, one on each side of the lake. We arrived on Friday afternoon and got one of two available sites. All sites were first come first serve because it is late in the season. Reservations are available during the season. The showers were not available also because it is late in the season. The bath/shower building is nice and the bathroom was very clean. There are 5 individual showers but they were locked and not available. The setting is beautiful with all sites having a lake view. There are rigs of all sizes and all pads look pretty level. We walked some of the trails and road and noticed many fishing, boating (with motor) and kayaking on the lake. We walked to a golf course about a mile away. Bike lanes were along the road. The campground is very quiet. There is no campground host but a camper staying in the site was very helpful. We are able to use phones and computers. Originally we were going to stay in the area only 1 night but we will stay longer.
