Arrived late afternoon. Got setup to find the the electric service at site #2 was not functioning. We were able to connect to site #3 electric as it was unoccupied. Full hookup site far enough off the road to be quiet. Other sites looked more desirable then #2 or #3. Looked like a well maintained area.

$20 FHU. 36 FT 5th wheel.
Some of the sites will not accept taller rigs due to oak and pecan tree branches to low. the max stay is 10 days. Have no idea what park the poster is referencing! We have a 36 FT 5th wheel and had no problems with site #17 length/level (numbering doesn’t correlate with number of sites). Site #17 sewer flows almost uphill but works.(Most sites are long and all are level.) Really nice, large park; actually a hidden gem far back from Hwy 87 on the west side of town. Entrance is a lovely boulevard with old-fashioned street lights. RV spots (FHU) are in the back of the park behind the ball field. There’s a separate bathroom facility; no laundry. Playground equipment close by and many areas to walk your dog. Alternating parking (hookups are in the center for 2 spots). Really quiet during our stay with only 1 other traveler and their truck camper. During city festivals, I imagine the park can fill up pretty fast. Very updated electric/water/sewer hookups (for a city park) with numerous electric pedestals throughout the park.
There are pay envelopes by the bathrooms but no drop box at the park. The sign says to drop payment off at City Hall or you can call the Utilities department and pay over the phone during business hours 8:30-5 M-F. City Hall is only 4-5 minutes away. Drop box is on the second drive through lane and there are envelopes there as well if the park is out of them.
If you can go in during business hours, you pay at the utilities window. While you are there, ask for the “Brady City” WI-FI password.
Only AT&T cell service in Brady so if you don’t have AT&T then you do want the password at the park. The WI-FI was very good for me. Super friendly town.
This park is truly a hidden gem with a couple of issues but I will come back here if I come this way.

Shady and flat with playground, near a creek with ducks. Peaceful and quiet. Enjoyed my stay. Free wifi, hot showers.

Camped for one night on the way to Palo Duro Canyon from Austin. Lots of shade, pull through and back in spots, nearby creek with people fishing, moderate WiFi, and full hook ups! $20 per night with a max of 10 nights. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful park in the middle of town. Good cell coverage and to our surprise - free WiFi! Heavily treed with power and water at sites.

This RV area is right in the middle of the city park. Activity can go on a bit late, but we did personally see the police action (a little down the road). Very shady spots, electric and water but the dump is there for you to use.
If it is time to stop, use this spot.
