We did go to the casino, but, mostly watched the football and had food and drinks. It was a very quiet night. There is security driving around and I was able to find plenty of green spaces to walk the dog. There was one other RV and one tractor trailer.
Spoke with security upon arrival, they stated no need to check in. They did ask if we were going to the casino. We are not gamblers but did dine at 2 of the restaurants. As the previous reviewer wrote, this rest stop is just a highway rest stop. However for a one night lay-over, it works perfectly. The parking area is quite large, so there is plenty of space to spread out. This is just a rest stop but it had a bunch of campers staying overnight and I even saw a large class A with the slide outs in use and chairs outside. There was also some good paved hiking/biking trails behind the welcome center. I wouldn't recommend more than 1 night but it was an alright spot to catch some zzzz's and chill out for free.
