Stopped here for an overnight traveling from Banff to Glacier. Sites were not completely level but easily leveled up on. Sites were very nice and paved. Due to it being late in the season, everything was first come first serve. Arrived ear in the evening and plenty of sites available on a Friday night September 13, 2024.

The rest of the sites are in a large parking.each has picnic table just outside the parking lot space. You could be right next door to your neighbor if ever site is taken. The road and the sites in the park are paved. Most sites are level and biig enough for class A. The bathrooms are first class with running water and tile floors Great places for kids to ride bikes on the paved trail that goes to the other FCFS area. There are two other FCFS areas one is about 3 miles as you are going south on 37 before you get to the turn off for Rexford. The other is Douglas HIll The town of Eureka is about 7 miles. The town is big enough to have all of the essentials. The only con is the plethora of Yellow Jackets. They have Yellos Jacket traps hung around the camp to reduce the population.

After reading some of the other reviews, we thought we could pull in on a Saturday morning in late July and have our pick of sites. Not so. Campground was full, but we circled one loop and got lucky, someone was just leaving. These sites are very large, set up for big rigs, tow vehicle and boats. Many are reservable, others FCFS. The campground is in a forest of firs and pines, rather scraggly ones with lots of dead undergrowth. But you are a minute or two from huge Lake Koocanusa. The beach is very nice, but most campers here had power boats. Very quiet during the day when most everyone is on the lake. Hosts were very pleasant and seemed to diligently know who was coming and going and when. Also, the little town of Rexford is right there and has some amenities, like a restaurant, which we went to because it was so darned hot we needed a few hours of AC. Food was good but our female bartender was surly and not nice. We had no wi-fi or cell service. There is some noise from Hwy. 37 but not bad at all.

The bathrooms are unbelievable and extremely clean, flush toilets and urinal in the men's room. Great cell service as well. (ATT) Camp hosts were great and even arranged for us and another couple to get a boat tour of the lake. Trails for hiking and biking. Plenty of room for the kids to play. Got visits everyday from the local deer. Lots of trees which may be an issue for your solar.

Ponderos pines galore plus paved roads. Win Win!! It was very quiet while we were there in Aug. Eureka is a quaint town with very friendly people....not really touristy but all the basics (2 groceries, health care, hardware store, numerous gas stations, NAPA & tire/garage shop, various other small businesses plus clothing & decor shops. No big box stores!! Note: the stores & shops close up around 5 during the week.) The Front Porch, home of the Dewey Burger, was an interesting eatery with good food & friendly folks. Lake Koocanusa is massive & well worth a drive down to Libby Dam & back. We had 2-3 bars Verizon with a MIMO antenna to a JetPack. All we needed to email, trip plan & watch Netflix. A trip across the border to Canada was tempting but there wasn't anything up there that we didn't have on the Eureka side. The Water Fill was located on the way in along with the Dump Station & both were easy access, coming & going. No hookups at sites but lots of Restrooms spread around each loop. Very spacious sites. Would love to go back to Rexford Bench if ever back in this area. If our home base was anywhere within 500 miles, we'd go multiple times a year.

Several pad lengths over 50 ft. A nice feeling of space around each campsite. Nicely tiled Bathrooms with running water flush toilets 🚻. Excellent sandy beach, and several hiking trails, some as informative nature paths. This campground is about 50 miles north of Kalispell MT and Glacier NP a few miles west of Eureka MT on US 93 to Canada. If your coming from the west it's a beautiful shoreline drive from Libby MT and the 5 lakes area Has a pay as u go WIFI service. It was not expensive for 12 hrs but I did not use it .

We were looking for a site with access to Lake Koocanusa (to kayak & fish) and were pleasantly surprised by this find! There are about 55(?) sites in this campground. All have paved, level driveways. There are only a couple pull-through sites (ours being one of them ), but all of the sites are large enough to accommodate rv’s, boats, vehicles, etc... There are flush toilets (kept very clean) and water spigots throughout the campground for easy access to drinking water. The campground is a short drive to the lake to launch a boat, and there is also a swimming beach access. There are some short nature-viewing walking trails in the campground. The campground is right off 37, at the Rexford exit.
