The first site they had me attempt to go into was so full of snow it would not clear the bottom of my Airstream. But they were accommodating and I was able to find a back in spot that had actually been plowed. Nice location if you just need a one nighter, easy on and off to i-80... Providing the highway is open!
Did not use any of the facilities.

Mediocre stay - wasn’t great, wasn’t awful. Not really “fun” compared to other KOAs, pool was small but did the job. No shade where our spot was. Full timers were rude and thought they ran the spot

This place is perfectly fine for a night or a few. The casino is a walk to the entrance where you can get some restaurant food at an affordable price.
Our site (and most in our row based on leveling blocks) was very unlevel. Also, there was some trash and cigarette butts on our grass area (it's a small grass area), but I am fairly certain it was from our neighbor that smoked often and very clearly made some small repairs on the hookups recently. So, that could just be a one-off situation and not reflective of the rv park as a whole.
We have AT&T and Verizon. Verizon performed quite a bit better here, but AT&T worked just fine.
Propane on site.
Laundry facilities were clean and worked well.
Laundry did close with the office hours.
We use our trailer for restrooms and to shower, but it did also seem that restrooms and showers were closed when the office closed too. So, if that matters for your situation, take note.

First, the pros - it is about 10 minutes from downtown Reno and a portion of the park has very nice trees. I saw security drove through more than once. You get free drink tickets for adults and free game tickets for kids for the associated casino.
Cons - The park is a giant parking lot, which isn’t unusual for a desert campground but the sites were very unlevel. Pool is not heated. When we checked in at 6, we were informed the 24 hour bathrooms/showers were closed and the only others were only open until the store closed at 7. No attempt was made to have someone stay later to keep the showers open later. The pool closed at 7:45 - why?! - but you had to shower by 7. 🙄 At our site, the sewage intake was clustered with the power and water. It was impossible to park in such a way to hook up to dump without being out in the road.
It’s a fine place to stay for a night or two passing through but I wouldn’t stay there long term.

Noisiest rv park I have ever stayed in. With the trains every 30 minutes and the roar of Hwy 80, we didn't sleep well for 3 days.
Every night they turned the lawn sprinklers on and every morning we woke up to a mud hole in our little patch of grass.
Bring your own toilet and shower. The park has none at night.

A paved (and uneven) parking lot with white lines indicating the 'sites'. Barely enough space for a (small, crummy) picnic table in between. With my 25ft trailer I barely fit the site. Many others with larger rigs could not park their truck on the site and are sticking out into the lanes. At $63/night I expect better.

I like KOAs for the safety, proximity to the main roads, and cleanliness. This one hits all of these. If you like to gamble the Boomtown Casino us steps away. I just stayed the night on my way elsewhere so I felt it was fine.

I suggest just staying at the hotel and letting them know that you’re parking an RV with your room reservation. This park is bare bones for the price. Nice area to stay, overall, but I don’t recommend this particular campground. Lots of dog poop, generators going here and there while I was there, even with their hook ups. Nice enough (well-intentioned) folks running the place, but they don’t offer you much for the price. Easy access. Not terribly close, but probably too close, if this is your vacation.

Close to I80, but far enough to not hear it. Overlooks River.
Campsite itself very ordinary but clean and quiet, casino in walking distance if so inclined.
Location is a quick commute to Reno, and a head start if you are heading to Tahoe.

Nothing really great in my opinion about this campground but I AM grateful to have a SAFE place to stop on the side of I-80 with a good cell phone Signal and with a clean bathroom. KOAs seem to all have that at a minimum so they will always get at least three stars even though the actual site is a gravel parking lot and nothing more.

Got there at 10:30. Wanted to check in early to drop camper and visit Lake Tahoe. Lots of empty sites but wouldn’t let us check in until 2:00 so we moved on.
