Electric only site with table and fire pit. Had to call a number posted at campground to secure site. Does not honor Nat’l Parks Lifetime SR Pass. Was more expensive because we don’t live here. No wonder I boondock most of the time.

Just had our first camping trip at Glendo a state Park in the Reno Cove Group site. We originally thought Reno Cove was closer to the water but it was a short drive to the boat drop and a little hidden beach. The park itself was beautiful and wasn’t restrictive. We only saw a ranger once during our 4 day stay. Sandy Beach was amazing! Great for families and pets alike. Only downside was that this weekend was unseasonably cooler and super windy! Nothing anyone could do about it but will definitely go back!

We checked in on a Thursday & basically had the campground to ourselves. By Friday evening the place was full. 17 dollars a night for a site with electric and an incredible view made for a nice long weekend. We stayed in Reno Cove which is not protected against the wind, which blew the whole time. We couldn’t put up the awning but we managed to work our way around the camper to keep shielded. We drive around the park & there are many great places to camp. There were no bathrooms or trash bins at Reno Cove campground but there was both at the marina. We will definitely come back and stay in The only pull thru site which has the best views of them all. I think it’s site 8.
