Reicks Lake Park & Campground

Stayed here for one night on the way through. Nice weather on a summer weekend and the place was half full. Paved sites are fairly short, but have 30 and 20 amps available. We had to unhook due to hanging out into the road by 6 feet. No reservations, first come first served, cash or check.

Locate just north of Alma, WI right next to busy highway Rte 35. Tight entrance off the highway, tight access to sites, especially for longer rigs. But, a wonderful spot to observe migrating waterfowl, especial late in the season (later Oct into Nov, even if lake starts to freeze.

Lots of small ducks and Canadian Geese, but if your timing is right, thousands of Arctic Swans and some Trumpeter Swans as well. Bald eagles are an all the time occurrence.

Alma, less than a mile away has many good eating places, gift shops, services with a lock & dam observation site to watch boats of all sizes lock up and down the river going around the dam. A very educational experience in a picturesque river community.
