This park is great. So much to do! Boating, swimming, biking, walking, hiking! Very clean restrooms and showers. Great laundry area. Paved roads but gravel sites.

Most of the sites are pull through, and now, post updates to many sites, they are mostly full hookups. Outbound we stayed in site 5, in loop 1. We changed to 33 in loop 2 on our return due to the wash house being under construction in loop 1. Both great sites, it's hard not to have a decent site here. We preferred 33 though due to the tree view. It poured while in 33, the site did not flood but as it's under live oak trees the loud big drips from the leaves could bother some, we loved it.
Ranger team are super friendly, and GA has discount stays if you are over 62. This discount is done at check in.
Nice short hike loop Gopher Tortoise right by the campground for a quick leg stretch, but many other trails we've not yet explored.
Bugs here are pretty bad in June. Spray up.

Arrival - Very easy arrival process with a nice check-in area. If you arrive after registration closes, make sure you call and get the gate code.
Tips - Be aware that they are doing construction on one of the loops right now so, they're down to half their sites.
Favorites - The scenery, trees, and lake area; the wisteria and azaleas are in bloom. Nice walking trails all over the place and the kids were able to geocache. Very nice bathrooms with a laundry room (1 washer/2 dryers) attached.
Negatives - 30A service not providing a full 30A (~28A). We wouldn't be able to camp here running one AC this time next month. Mosquitos were already out in mega force so, be prepared. Construction noise right now.

We stayed here for 3 nights in early February, 2023. We thought we may have gotten a cancellation as the sites always seemed to be full when I checked online as well as when we were there (if you wanted a site for more than 1 night). Our nightly rate was averaged and I think we may have used our GA reward points towards a night here - we had water & electric. Unfortunately, the other loop was under renovation construction so we heard "beep, beep, beep" of the equipment backing up all day long.
We also thought maybe the sites would have lake views - they did not. That is what we didn't "love". What we did like a lot: laundry, small book exchange, small camp store, nice rangers, the nearby gopher tortoise trail - somehow we didn't make it to the boardwalk trail - which was a mistake as people we met at the next campground had helped pressure wash it and had loads of cool photos of it!
And we saw a stray dog here - another camper and I helped entice it to us and arranged to have the rangers take this sweet scared girl to a shelter. So nice people here!
Noise gets 1 star due to the construction, but I would still stay here again! Georgia State Parks are the BEST!

Quite and peaceful the campground is situated among large live oak trees with Spanish moss.

Beautiful state park in Adel, GA. Pull thru site with gravel. Some shade. Across from restrooms that are very clean and well maintained. Clean laundry as well. Lots of walking trails, plenty of biking as well. Park has a playground and a mini golf. Rode bikes across the dam and swimming area. Has a boat launch as well.

Always love coming to Reed Bingham. Clean sites, plenty of room to stretch out, lots of shade trees. Bathrooms are well stocked and cleaned often. Site 30 in a FHU pull through that backs up to the forest so plenty of privacy.
