Redman is often full due to it being located near a metropolitan area but it’s great for getting into the mountains.

Overall Rating

Spent 1 night here in late September and found several open spots with no reservations. Clean vault toilets with water spigot nearby. My site had both a fire ring and a stone & steel plate “wood stove” with door & chimney. Could heat your pan or kettle on it if so inclined.

Nice babbling sounds come from the nearby creek. Sites are semi private, and not too crowded - decent campground spacing between.

Easy access to Salt Lake City (about an hour’s drive) or Park City (over Empire Pass - closed winters - about 30 min).
