“Just What We Needed.”

We called Mary on our way in and asked about coming in late. She was so nice and the staffed waited up for us. They helped us back in to our site in the dark and made sure we were all set before they went off to bed. Thanks to them for being available and so kind.
We only needed one night. And we had full hookups.

Older campground but worked well for our 2 night stay in Medora. Close to Theodore Roosevelt National Park south unit entrance as well as all things Medora.

Nice campground with helpful staff. Wifi doesn’t reach every site as advertised nor did it work well near office but Verizon was good. I like that there is a playground for little and big kids that is well shaded

We came to visit Theodore Roosevelt National Park and this was a perfect place to stay for it's proximity to the south entrance of TRNP and the beautiful town of Medora. The staff was very nice and friendly. There was a water leak at our site so we reported it; the gentleman came and fixed it promptly. They did say their cable was down but as we were there to enjoy the scenery/peace/quiet it didn't matter to us. Most of the sites were full so I expected to have a lot of noise in the evening, however I was wrong. It was quiet and relaxing. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Red Trail campground in Medora, ND in September 2021. This is a great little park right outside Theodore Roosevelt National park. We stayed on an end site that was large and spacious with FHU. This park is dusty when the wind starts to blow but other than that, we enjoyed our stay here. Very well managed by a cheerful staff that go to great lengths to help you get your rig in safely before they leave you to set up camp. This was by far one of the easiest parks to negotiate in and out of with a big rig and is a great stop when visiting the Theodore Roosevelt National park. I would definatly recommend this park for a carefree visit to North Dakota. To see videos on this park and others, please visit our YouTube channel: Jeff & Steff’s Excellent Adventure.

It being off-season, it was not as crowded as its pictures might lead you to expect. There are lots of trees, too. We had a tight back-in site and the assistance from the staff saved lots of time

My wife and I stayed here for one night: 8-24-2021. We found the campground and its facilities to be perfectly satisfactory. That is, it is not fancy, but it is clean, and everything works as advertised. The showers and toilet facilities were well maintained and the water was hot. We would stay here again.

Check in takes awhile, escorted to campsite and told how to park, steer etc. campsite is on smaller side. Full hook ups. Good WiFi , cable, SAT reception spotty due to trees. Staff keeps bathrooms clean.
