“Beautiful site right on the creek, loved having the horse and buggies go by, very friendly and helpful staff.”

Our first time staying here, and with one hiccup - totally not the campground's fault at all - everything was practically perfect!
The staff was super helpful from the start of our booking experience and gave us the best site out of the ones we listed as preferred based on their online map. It was a stellar site. When we arrived and checked in they gave us instruction on how to best access the site and made sure we were good to go.
The sites are situated along Muddy Creek, with some pull through sites and seasonal sites across the road at the fishing pond. You're just far enough away from Route 222 or I-76 that you don't hear any of of that traffic, but close enough that it's only about 8 minutes from the entrance ramps. There is a decent amount of traffic that travels the road that splits the campground as well as the one nearby, but it wasn't enough to be off-putting. I loved hearing and seeing the horse and buggies going by each day too.
Our site was very level and required almost no adjustment when we parked. It was a grass/dirt site. As it wasn't too busy and the site was big enough, we were able to park so that our awning area directly faced the creek and the farm across the way, which was beautiful and very relaxing. Being situated that way also afforded us a bit more privacy from the road. Electric and water hookup at the site was great, no issues with water pressure. My husband fished right from our campsite and caught a creek chub on his first cast. We had two sets of ducks hanging out nearby - the three brothers, as we dubbed them, and a family with a male, female, and thirteen or fourteen ducklings. All in all, it was pretty fantastic.
Of course, with the Covid-19 restrictions, the restroom facilities were not open, so I can't say anything about how that. We're also self-contained, so I probably wouldn't have wound up using them if they were. The only thing I can comment on was that the water to the dump station near the restroom was not turned on - I assume it's hooked to the restroom's water which was presumably turned off, but there's a second dump station near the office which we were able to use instead, and it wasn't a problem at all. There are horseshoe pits (2 that I saw), and a playground area and court for sports (I think it was a volleyball court or a basketball court) on the one end of the grounds.
Pets are allowed and all documentation including website does specify that they must be leashed. This is where our hiccup came in because someone didn't follow the rules and there was an incident involving their dog who was not leashed/secured and our dog who was leashed and being walked. But again, totally not the campground's fault. The point here is that they even supply a number for the local veterinarian in case it's needed, which is something I haven't seen other campgrounds do. Another check in the win category for thinking of everything.
I think that in the height of the busy season, some of the sites would be a bit too close to each other for my liking, but that would be the case in any campground since I'm used to tenting/camping at more remote sites where we have a ton of space to ourselves. It's all set up to have easy access for getting into each site and setting up, though. I'd definitely come back.

May temps were very cold approaching freezing overnight so pool is not opened. We enjoyed walking around the property including a small lake where several families were catching “sunnies”. Sunday morning brought lots of horse and buggy traffic heading to and from a nearby church. Ducks on the creek provided a nice view.

Didn’t flood but probably could. Overall nice location and atmosphere

The staff was friendly in the beginning but once we were there it was like being under a microscope. I was told I couldn't have a toolbox out I was told my site was a eyesore and my truck wasn't acceptable. We were planning on staying the entire season but they told us to leave after 2 weeks. We didn't bother anyone and everyone around us enjoyed meeting us. My neighbor even told manager we were good neighbors don't throw them out. I believe the manager is on drugs and the maintenance man isn't safe to be be around kids. Maybe even a peeping Tom. Then the rule about riding a motorcycle in the grass came into the equation. I didn't even do that but to park it. Other than the manager being a complete jerk and the maintenance man being creepy it is a nice place for being in a cow pasture. It's no 5 star resort but it's a 2 maybe....
