Overall Rating

Red Rock Campground is a Parking Lot and river access along Hwy 93 which runs along the Salmon river in this area. Amenities include a boat landing and vault toilets. The parking area is level and large enough for several large RVs. The night we stayed, September 17, 2021, a few cars pulled in during the afternoon, but by nightfall, the lot was empty except for us. We pulled our travel trailer right up along the river's edge with just enough room for a private little patio right outside our trailer, right on the river. It doesn't get much better than that. We didn't use the Volt toilets or any other amenities at the campground, nor did we build a fire.
