The animals are well cared for, the pool is clean and has great seating, including some fun swing lounge chairs. The staff is exceptional, maintenance is constantly taking care of the grounds, trash is picked up from your site every morning. I loved all the thoughtful and fun events during the week, complimentary breakfast, snacks in the Clubhouse, etc. it is very quiet (stayed in June) and the sites are level and nicely spaced. The price is higher than I’m used to, but it’s worth it, you do get what you pay for. Can’t wait to stay here again and do some horseback riding that I didn’t have time for this stay!

There is a bit of highway noise, but not bad.

This was a beautiful RV resort. We just had a 1 night stay driving through the area. Clean, well maintained, great amenities and very friendly staff. Convenient location to Savannah. Bonus, DoorDash drivers to this park. Site B2 was great for our Sprinter. We will be back.

With it being on a farm there is plenty of open space to enjoy, trails to walk and animals to visit. We really enjoyed the pool area as it is covered with bikini covers and there is ample relaxing seating. Our kids liked the playground as well.
All of the staff we encountered here were very friendly and super helpful. We signed both of our daughters up to take a riding lesson and it was such a great experience for them.
Savannah is a lovely city with lots to see and do, this campground is a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city but close enough to the action.

What a beautiful property that is well maintained with lots of room to explore. We camped here 3 nights with FHU without kids, but did notice that the playground was very nice. We enjoyed the animals, exploring the property with beautiful ponds and backdrops for lots of photos.
The electrical hook ups were in fantastic condition some of the best we’ve seen since we’ve been camping. The only downside is the spacing between each Campspot. You are very close to your neighbor.
We stayed in spot 18, which was perfect. Spots 13 through 19 are nestled against a hedge so you have great evening shade. However, if you’re camping in a larger rig, you’ll have to be careful that you can back in and clear the branches. Spots 1-3 are closest the main road and you can hear some noise at night. I’m sure if you’re in those spots. Spots 3-12 line the main entrance drive. Because the drive is gravel, those spots have the possibility of you being able to hear traffic as it enters and exits the park. There are pull through sites as welll, but they don’t offer shade. The only spot I would not care to camp in is number 13. It is directly next to the propane filling station and across from the dump station. There should be something here to fit everyone’s needs.
Having said all of that, we did not hear any traffic noise during our stay while we were in our camper. We did hear street noise when we were out exploring the property.
We booked the trolley tour from the office the day before, and the trolley picked us up at 9 AM sharp and drop this off at 4 PM. We are really glad we did this because parking in Savannah is a nightmare.
The camp store was nice priced typical for a camp store, but stock necessary items. It was a laundromat on site as well, but we did not need to use it during our
There is a nice pool on site as well.
As others have mentioned, certain areas of the property are used for weddings and other events. This never disturbed us during our stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and look forward to returning.

Other campers were friendly with enough room between us to have privacy. Small laundry facility that was busy most of the time. Limited shower accommodations which we didn’t use. A pool for swimming and a lake for fishing. Horses, goats and geese to watch. Garbage picked up daily at your site by 9 am. Train and traffic noise which didn’t bother us. Conveniently located for Savannah tourists. Would definitely stay here again.

We were very pleased with the campground we picked for our stay in Savannah - Red Gate Farm Campground. The campground was relatively small with essentially no shade (the only back draw I can think of). However, the small campground area was part of a big beautiful farm land with horses and the centuries-old oak trees, which in my mind saw the Indians, 18th centuries colonists, civil war soldiers, and more. Red Gate Farms was exactly the place I would like to stay when visiting the city full of rich history like Savannah. We have a video about this campground on our YouTube channel - Summertime RV Rovers. It is called "From Savannah Through St Augustine To Florida. Please check for yourself. We camped at Red Gate Campground & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a small RV park but the staff, grounds and amenities make it a great place to stay. The grounds are very well kept and they offer a happy hour on Tuesdays. It is clean and about 15 minutes to downtown Savannah. Access to highway is close and you may hear an occasional train.
