1/26/23-1/30/23 - This is a great COE campsite that is spacious, clean, quiet, and site #63 has lake views on 3 sides. A picnic table, fire-pit, lantern post, 30A electric, and water are provided. 1/26/23-1/30/23 - This is a great COE campsite that is spacious, clean, quiet, and site #63 has lake views on 3 sides. A picnic table, fire-pit, lantern post, 30A electric, and water are provided. This is a back-in site that slopes significantly to the rear (lake side) though. I needed to lower the front of my 34’ fifth wheel trailer 16” to level it; L/R leveling was reasonable needing 1/2” on the right side. The grassy area around the site would be great of outdoor games and the water access would be great to fish from shore, boat access to the site, or swimming. The dump station is on the right side just before exiting the campground. Verizon 4G was 4-bars with 20Mbps download and 2Mbps upload speeds. I paid $13/night with my Interagency Senior Pass. Too bad that it was rainy most of the weekend and we didn’t have nicer weather.

Friendly hosts, clean, well cared for grounds. Spacious sites with great lake views. The nicest COE campground we have stayed at. Our cost reflects the senior rate. Wish we could stay longer.
40 mbps download speed. 10 up.

I went hiking on the Beween the Lakes backpacking trail 15min east of the campground. I also went to the MTB trails near Lufkin, TX 20 min NE while I was here.

We stayed here in 2017 while owning a 48' racecar trailer with living qtrs. Park hosts we very friendly. We plan to stay in the same spot again with our new RV. I just wanted to write this review to keep people with larger rigs from shying away. I backed the 48' trailer in with no issues. Spots 39 - 49 are on the edge of the lake with amazing views. Keep an eye on the weather. The wind can kick up quickly when a little storm comes thru. Park is well kept. Nice boat ramps also. My daughter and I caught a ton of small bass wading at the boat ramp using a beetle spin. I have fished this lake my whole life. I caught plenty of largemouth bass out of a kayak. Best color worms are blue/black and plum crazy. Good luck.

We stayed at Rayburn Park in the middle of the week and it was amazing. The park is immaculately maintained and the park hosts are great. There was only us and about 5 other campers there. The price paid reflects the Golden Access pass. Site 38 does have some horrible unlevel spots but it is plenty long enough to find a level area.

The attendants and hosts are what really sets this park apart from the rest. Everything is kept so neat. We were in 37 and it has quite a few places where the tree roots have pushed up the asphalt. 36 and 38 are probably the worst. Since they are so long you can probably position your wheels where you can be level.

Nice campground. Only stayed one night. Good level asphalt site. Electrical (30amp) at site. Some sites are close together, but some are private - see attached campground map. If you like to fish or boat, we saw several people that had pulled their boats up to their campsite.
