“Great Little Spot”

Great national park site. $5 a night self pay. Clean Porta John, bear proof trash cans, fire ring, picnic table, gravel tent pad. No cell service. Around 20 spots, not for bigger rigs. We stopped for the night in September and there were only two other people there.

This is a wonderful remote campground. No hookups. It is very quiet and easy to get into. We camped in site 20 which is the largest site and very private. We were the only people camping this weekend. No cell service.

“Didn't stay but beautiful spot!”

noted 2/28/2023

The campground was closed but there is still access to sites 1 & 2. Site 1 is a bit steep but we got our 30ft motorhome in there. We totally planned on staying but our dogs kept getting ticks on them which freaked us out. It's not free either. It's $5 or $2.50 if you have a senior pass. There was an envelope payment area at the beginning of the campground. We wish we could have stayed because it was so beautiful and peaceful!! We did park to go check out the river and bridge! It was really nice and has a lot of room for day use with picnic tables, BBQ's and pit toilets. We didn't use the pit toilets but when we looked inside the bathroom they seemed to be okay. Verizon service was 1 bar and only texts would go through but couldn't receive pictures. We have a tMobile hotspot and that had no service.
