We stayed here in October and it was really pretty.. The road is very washboard once you get back a bit. Not very many spots here so be prepared for it to be full. If you have a smaller rig you have more options at this site. There was trash at our site but we cleaned it up before we left. Overall a good place for a night or two.

Easy access off the interstate. The views are nice but nothing amazing. There are probably 15 spots total, maybe half of those could suit large RVs. If you have a capable off roader you can get to some cooler spots down by the draw. The internet was good enough to work remotely with our pepwave router and antenna, but I wouldn't risk it with phone only. We thought we got the best spot in the whole place at these coordinates: 34.695353,-111.721882

Because this area checks all the boxes and we don’t want it to get too popular! We came for a long weekend with our 2 dogs and 7-year-old. The dirt road to get in was very accessible in our travel trailer and we saw multiple schoolies parked at the site too. It’s right off i17 but you can neither see nor hear the road from the camp sites. Not many campsites and you are close-ish together but lots of beautiful views to share. I took a run down the road to the other dispersed camping in this area (119? I think) and this is definitely the nicer of the two options. When we arrived on Friday evening most of the campsites were taken that would fit our rig, but if you have off road abilities there is a lot more and more beautiful sites available. We got a spot right by the gate. From our campsite there is a 1-mile walk down the road to the stream where you can see petroglyphs. This so enchanted my seven-year-old it was the only thing we did this weekend- keep walking back to the stream. The national park site is close by. The weather could not have been nicer this time of year. Good cell coverage at our site, too - at times I had 3 bars 5G Verizon.

I wanted more peace and quiet and I found that here! The day that I was here, November 20th, it was pretty windy though, but just a few people staying here on spacious sites and very quiet. Super easy access too! (I’m in a low clearance car.)
It may get busier in summer? But great this time around! Also very nice to have good reception (Verizon).

For first time boon-dockers it was a great way to dip our toes. Our trip was taking us from Phoenix to Salt Lake and this was our first stop on our way north. Easy to locate and was far away from a local highway that there was very little noice to keep us from enjoying a solid nights sleep. Recommended.

Easy in, great views, lots of room, close to Sedona with plenty of hikes around. We stayed at one of the pull offs on the road before the main camping area. Killer spot!

My family stayed here over a weekend while we attended a soccer tournament in Prescott.
There are multiple dispersed sites with beautiful views. Area was very clean and quiet day and night.
We’ll definitely go back when we have more time to explore the area.

We stayed here for 3 days. Great spot, but it snowed most of the time we were there. We stayed in one of the two spots closer to the main road, before you go down the hill. 30 min drive to Sedona and easy access to the interstate. Loved it here, would definitely go back!
