This was my second year staying at Ramona Beach. Last year, we stumbled upon it after finding most of the RV parks south of the city closed that had been listed in the Church's book, and the only one open, a swanky hotel resort, wanting a laughable $60USD/night for lackluster sites at their mostly empty RV park. No Way Jose'! We kept driving north hoping to find something more reasonable, and found it we did!
For $25/night USD, or 1 night free if staying a week (which we did), or a bargain basement price of $350/mo USD, you can get a site right at the edge of a bluff overlooking the Pacific (with a short flight of stairs down to the beach). Electric is hit or miss at many of the sites-- no doubt, due to the salt air. But we were able to find at least 2 sites with working electric right on the first row (15 amp only), and all sites appeared to have good city water and sewer connections. Additionally, the park had excellent, fast, and free WiFi.
Location can't be beat! Right on the highway a couple miles north of downtown Ensenada just south of the Highway 3 turnoff to Tecate and toll road to Rosarito/Tijuana. A Calimax grocery store is within walking distance, and a big Soriana about 2 miles away.
Many of the back rows of this park are occupied by long-term trailer tenants and/or boats and RVs being stored, so this is not a high-end RV park by any stretch of the imagination, but of the15 or so open sites when we were there, they all had the best ocean views, and were never filled.
The onsite manager is very friendly and speaks good English. There are a couple of flush toilets at the office building. Not sure if they have any showers. The RV park is big-rig accessible.

Winnie Views: Week in Ensenada
