Michelle would stay here again

“super! Quiet to the max.”

It's a good gravel road, 3 miles off of 395, south of termo California. Very quiet camp at this time anyway, mid-september. We only stayed one night as we are on our way to Arizona. It was worth the drive down the Gravel Road. It had plenty of serviced garbage cans, a pit toilet , picnic tables and fire Rings which we did not use. It also had two structures that each had two game hooks on them with a nice pulley system. There is water from the spring but it is not tested therefore I would recommend filter system.

This camp is free but they do leave envelopes to make a donation. Left them $5.

“Nice quiet BLM campground located about 3 miles off of Hwy 395 about 7 miles south of Ravensdale, CA. ”

Overall Rating

This CG is out in the middle of nowhere, very convenient when driving north or south on HWY 395 in NE California, about 7 miles south of Ravensdale, CA, three miles up a gravel road to the east of the highway, easily passible unless it has rained heavily. Nothing fancy, pit toilet, gravel pads.
I don't remember any cell service. We use it as a transit boondock site. There is no fee but donations can be made at the entry to the CG. This site is probably very busy during hunting season as it incorporates a horse camp in the area,.
