Free power and water. One camping spot has pad. Covered pavilion. Tables and grills . They do take donations. No one else here. We'd stay longer but have previous appointment. Beautiful scenery! 4 miles of dirt roads to get to it, but they were pretty good and this spot is worth it!
Kat would stay here again

We stumbled across this gem while exploring family history sites in Raleigh, ND. It's about 10 minutes from the "square" and the building in my pictures (where my great grandmother served as Postmistress). The park has a lovely reservoir with a boat ramp and all access fishing pier. The Man should see fish jumping, but he was still geared up for trout from the trophy rivers further west. There is one large pavilion and 2-3 smaller ones and several picnic tables. The campsites are clean and orderly. 1 site has a concrete pad and 50/30 hookups. There are 7 more sites on grass (not necessarily even) with 30 amp service. Firewood was left in the camping area. The site is free for the first week, but you can make a donation.
Our first impulse was to stay, then thought better of it when we realized we had no service at the campsites and a schedule to keep (including early work calls). When we drove up and out of the park, we suddenly had 4 bars of LTE! Thus, we threw caution and schedule to the wind and set up camp. It was quiet, peaceful, and we had the place to ourselves. I worked from the top of the hill with no problems (sitting next to the cannonball concretions, pictured). It was a 5 minute walk from our site.
I have no idea why someone would wander here, but if you do stay here. (Gas and supplies available in nearby Flasher.)
