Easy access, showers, electric, water, firepit with free wood. Had 4 grizzly bears come thru camp. They ignored campers and grazed on roots.

We stayed here at the end of the season. Beautiful campground. Clean showers with hot water and plenty of water pressure. The grounds make you feel like you are in the wilderness. Plenty of privacy between sites. You can walk to town. Plenty of room for dogs to enjoy the outdoors too.

This park is city owned and operated. It's old and rustic. No two sites are the same, but prices are reasonable (especially when you convert to US $) and the park is very quiet. We'd planned to spend a full day in Hyder but decided we'd be better off to use that day as a travel day, so we spent just one night here.

This is a small municipal campground close to town. They have 15 and 30 amp sites for the same price. No electric are $16. There is a shower house and water fill. Each site is somewhat gravel and a few places of mud or moss. Very treed and mossy.
Fire ring and picnic tables. Walking distance to town.
Be bear aware!
