Radium Recreation Site

This is a great option if you are looking to float the Colorado Pump House run. For the price, it's hard to beat this place. Sites are huge, there is trash removal and pit toilets. No water at the site. During the season, there is a camp host there on the weekends to empty trash and do toilets.

We were amazed how few people were here. Sites are all dead flat with a couple picnic tables and a fire ring. Radium hot springs is a walk down the road from here, where you'll find cliff jumping and hot springs.

They also have group sites for up to 30 people for only $10. Amazing value or the money. And no huge RV's with generators running at all hours. Really helps to enjoy the beauty of the river and the surrounds.

This campground is very “do it yourself.” Bathrooms were vault toilets and clean with trash cans. No water. I love the HUGE sites so you aren’t right up on other people. The prairie dogs are everywhere so watch for stepping in holes. We stuck solar lights in them. Lots of pull through and all spots are flat. An easy walk to the water and boat ramp. Lots of guides park here to fish the Colorado so the spots closer to the water are noisier. No cell service.
