There are seasonal campers that were friendly and almost all of the rigs were clean and up to date. The area is so nice I can see why you would want to stay all summer and fall. The laundry was reasonably close and a great price. The grounds are great! Frisbee golf and a catch and release pond. I hope to come back soon!

We stayed here for five nights as part of a gathering of T@B users (a small teardrop-style RV). We thought the campground was great. Sites are somewhat close together, so privacy is a bit lacking, but we were here for the group activities so that wasn’t an issue for us. The facilities are well-maintained. Bath houses are within a reasonable distance of most sites. WiFi is free but we could never get logged in. We had Verizon 3 bar (extended) so we just used it instead. A bonus was cable at our site, which was unexpected and not usually offered at the more rustic campgrounds we normally use. We bought a coax cable at the well-stocked camp store and took advantage. The only mild inconvenience was that the store/office closes at 5 pm and we sometimes didn’t get back in time to buy what we needed. There’s a gas station/store a mile or so away.
The campground location was 20-30 minutes from West Jefferson and Boone, and literally adjacent to the Parkway. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We would stay here again.

As a private RV park, it's very woodsy and natural, relatively speaking. As a campground, it's a bit crowded with little separation between sites. We've actually spent time here on 2 occasions, once as attendees of a T@B Rally. T@B is the brand name of a particular teardrop camper. This is a good facility to host these kinds of events for a variety of reasons. The best way to describe a campground is to show it to you. This video is from a one night stay on our way to New England from Georgia .... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ixMZZAEs1A&index=55&list=PL2v8LB6vz74uvX193GKeGFgMmaU8QpXnV&t=0s
There are about a half dozen videos from the T@B Rallies as well on our channel if you're interested in what those look like. There were about 75 rigs in attendance.
Bathrooms were clean as you can see in the video. Wi-Fi was "functional" but not great (mind you, this was a couple years ago).

We liked the location, so gave it a try after reading reviews here. It was soooo congested! No privacy on any side. We used it to for rv parking and stayed gone all day. The people were helpful and nice. Just not what camping should feel like.

We loved this campground. It was heavily forested, quiet and was cleaner than any campground we've experienced. We will definitely return.

This campground is very clean and well maintained. The internet was the best we have ever had at a campground. All of the streets are paved and excellent condition. The showers and restrooms are large and very clean. There is a laundry facility available. A majority of the sites are rented to seasonal guests from April to October. Those sites have beautiful decks and furniture surrounding them. Some sites have less trees and less privacy then others. Some of the private sites with trees are 116, 117,118, 119,120,121.The town of West Jefferson is about 12 miles down the road and delightful.
