“Older campground in need of some upkeep”

Reviewed 8/16/2020

Nightly rate: $36
Days stayed: 2
Site Number: 39 loop1
Overall Rating

This campground has 2 separate loops that are very different. Loop 1 has no hook ups and was nearly empty when we stayed. Sites are slightly overgrown but definitely easy to access. Bathrooms were modern and clean with hot showers. Lots of privacy. Beach was a little disappointing very small but we had fun on it just the same. We used GPS to get here and it takes you on a very windy road past some dramatic lake houses. The website gives alternate directions that are more suitable for larger rigs. Nice trail to waterfall accessible from campground. Would be great site for kayakers or avid anglers. Loop 2 has some sites with hookups and was more populated during our stay but still plenty of privacy.

I really liked it at this campground. It was plenty spacious. I would stay to the inner loop. The outer loops are more secluded but harder to get into.
