Road was washboard but well maintained. There are minimal turn around so if you have a large rig I would leave it near the entrance prior to exploring the area.
Area is a beautiful valley with multiple streams and plenty of mosquitoes. Signs at the entrance noted moose in the area.
Entrance sites had 1 bar of Verizon 3G at Times, fluctuating to voice only and 1X. Road noise at entrance sites.

The open field area will hold any size rig but once you start heading up the road I’d have a place in mind first. There’s really no turn arounds but there are sites all along this road that can hold big rigs. Since this road has miles of camping spots there’s a bit of traffic but it’s still a good camping spot.

It is the middle of June 2019 and this year there is still snow surrounding the area at this time. I would assume there are some greater more secluded sites further back but the road was closed. Beautiful area. If you are sensitive to noise the creek nearby is frog central.

This area is nothing special. It is right off the highway... I mean right off... so lots of traffic noise and you are kinda out there on display. Scout with a toad before hauling down there.
May get lucky with a touch of Verizon signal, but the further you get from the highway the lower it gets.
