We were in site #10 and it was level gravel near the laundry but it was unusual in that the services (FHU) were all located very forward. We elected to just hook up electric and water then in a.m. before leaving we moved forward to hook up our slinky and dump. We could have tried to move more forward upon arrival but we were concerned we would be “sticking out” ( and the real temp was 106*!) so we were ok. The area is lovely. The farm beautiful and everything seemed very clean. Did not use any amenities. All check in was done via email so never actually saw or interacted with a “live” person, even upon arrival.

Wi-Fi is excellent. Avoid site #10! It is a parking slip in front of the laundry room. This appears to be mostly long term.

Very friendly host. Very clean and quiet. Sites didn’t feel cramped. Our site was bordered with extensive cotton fields, so neighbors were mostly birds. Loved the quiet, unobtrusive sounds of trains in the distance.

Bring a few levelers as the sites are made up of fine gravel and slightly sloped for drainage. This RV Park is laid out very nicely with back in sites mostly accommodating full timers, and pull throughs for overnighters. Don't let the idea of full timers or long term guests deter you. The management does not allow any garbage or trashy mess left out. The park is clean and well maintained.
Security gates close at night and require a code to enter. There is a laundry room for guests to use and propane filling on site.
Our router and AT&T phones had full bars on LTE. We were able to stream without any issues. The price reflects a 50% discount with Passport America. We also paid cash to save a small fee for credit card usage.
The only downside is if you are a light sleeper you can hear train horns in the distance throughout the night. We ran our dehumidifier to help with the sound and they didn't bother us.

Our first ever wind energy laundry experience. Worked great but a tiny bit noisy. Also, our first ever RV park without a bath/showerhouse. Yeah, that's odd to me. The price paid includes a Good Sam 10% discount. Also odd that credit cards pay a higher rate. Our stay was in Feb 2018 and the North winds blew the Hondo train noise into camp. It was very noticeable to us but should not be a bother most of the year. The park was very well laid out and neat and clean as any I've seen. All utilities including wireless fidelity were perfect. The gardener deserves a raise. We felt very safe and secure. The owners and family seem to care and it shows. When he gave me a golf cart tour to choose a site I was shocked that there was no bathhouse. He realized that it was not disclosed in our phone conversations and kindly comped me a second night. An easy 5 star park if it had showers but a strong 4 stars without. The old school Raye Theater in Hondo was a hoot. The ticket booth was on the sidewalk out front and they even had a big red curtain that was pulled back when the movie started. We loved it.

This park is located on what I believe is a working farm. The park and the working farm were immaculate. Each site had a gravel area and a cement pad with picnic table. All sites are full hook-ups.
For an RV park, there was ample space between the sites. Our site was on the back corner with lots of privacy.
Has an nice onsite laundry. $1.50 to was and $1.50 to dry. Heard rumor that there was a hot tub or pool but did not find it.
Not much to do here but be sure to check out Heavys BBQ in town.
