“Great for an overnight”

Overall Rating

While not a destination spot, this was a perfect place for a night's rest. It is adjacent to a rest area, so it is in close proximity to the freeway. C loop is sandwiched between the highway and traintrack but is still quite pleasant. There was only one train during the night. G loop is through a tunnel (for eastbound travelers) and borders the Clark Fork of the Columbia River. There is a lovely 1/2 mile interpretive trail that winds through here. Perfect trail to stretch your legs.
There is a dump station and fresh water. There is a restroom with flush toilets and hot/cold water.
There were only two other campers.
This campground is a days drive from our home base. We would definitely stay here again.
