Pyramid Lake Marina RV Park

You don’t come here to stay in a luxurious RV park. You come here to take in the splendor of Pyramid Lake. I would guess that most of the business here is people fishing.

The town and the park are tired and worn. But, the power worked, and the restroom & shower were clean and functional. And the view of the lake is mighty fine.

There’s abundant dispersed camping site along the shore, so you’re only here for hookups/showers/laundry.

Jerry the resident manager, is easy to deal with, but only takes cash. Crosby’s aka Pyramid Lodge & Store is the only merchant in town.

BTW, the fishing is unique and fabulous.

We've stayed here several times over the years. The fishing is incredible for my husband-cutthroat trout. I love the legends of the lake and the serenity. It's desert pretty, not lush pretty. There is not one tree around the lake. The RV park is basically a parking lot without shade but there are full hook ups and a clean laundry room and showers if you need them. It was safe and the people were friendly. The camp host works very hard to keep the area clean and desert beautiful. The roads do need repair and are victim to wash outs in the spring. I love Pyramid Lake. I love hiking around the shore line-when the water isn't so high-with my dogs and the quiet and the birds. I love the vastness of it when no one is around during the week days or the winter. The wind can come up quite quickly and you should always be aware of weather.
