We stayed here 7/25/22.

This is an unmarked easy on and off camping spot on the way to or from Valdez at mile marker 65 on the west side of the Richardson Highway. Although close to the highway, the highway is not all that busy. The entrance is paved off the highway.

It is an abandoned State Recreation Site (Little Tonsina River) with 8 "official" spots but up to 12 spots in this small area. Some of these sites are suitable for big rigs. We took the only pull through site, the rest are back in sites in a wooded setting. It looks like there may be a 4X4 trail before the entrance to the camping area. There are no facilities, no picnic tables and no cell service.

It looks like an abandoned campground, but we had a nice quite evening here before we headed into Valdez.
