These sites were way too close together with little or nothing between them. This is a very large state park. Why they crowded the sites so terribly is a mystery to me. See picture

Most sites are modern electric only. Newer sites have sewer and water also.

The campground is huge. All sites have a paved driveway. The main road into the campground is nice and wide. We have camped on the Beech and Hickory loops with our 25' travel trailer and not had issues getting in. They are doing some work on the campground in 2021, so not all sites may be available. Cell service for Verizon was spotty, but we could easily walk to a spot with better service.

Park and lake are beautiful. They have nice cabins that are spaced out nicely. The RV sites are super close to each other. Absolutely ridiculous.

Check in was easy at the Ranger Station at the park entrance. Well spaced tree lined camp sites surrounded by hiking/biking trails! Quiet weekend as Social Distancing and Masks Required in all buildings were in effect due to Covid-19, but camp store and wood delivery service were active. Store has all the things you may have forgotten or run through and has a take out menu if you want to skip cooking. Lake is large and there are many pontoon boats filled with fishing enthusiasts. Bath house was large, clean and up to State Park standards.Cell service was basically no to one bar of very slow connection, but they did have a Camp WiFi option priced at $7 for a day with weekly discount price, this allowed us to check emails and stream a movie one night by the fire.

Upon check in we were provided with information in events for the weekend and a map of the camp.
